microRTU is a remote terminal unit (RTU), with 16 Digital inputs and 16 Relay Outputs, RS-232 and RS-485 communication interfaces.The implemented communication protocol is MODBUS RTU (Slave).

The Following modbus functions are supported:

• Write Single Register (0x06)
• Write Multiple Registers (0x10)
• Read/Write Multiple Registers (0x17)
• Read Coils (0x01)
• Write Single Coil (0x05)
• Write Multiple Coils (0x0F)
• Read Discrete Inputs (0x02)

The microRTU system is flashed on a ATMEGA128 microcontroller and it uses the free-modbus prrotocol stack.
